Ian Rumsey made GMTV editor - MediaGuardian

The article also confirms the new Studio, the transfer to HD and Lorriane Kelly's show being separate.

Anyone catch the TOTH's on GMTV this morning? They used special titles. I only caught the logo fly towards me at about a hundren miles an hour and almost fly out my telly. Their coverage was good this morning, John and Lorraine got on well and their partners at ITV News were very good too.

Also interesting that the Deputy Editor of the new ITV Breakfast service is from The One Show... Wonder why that might be...

Apparently this Ian Rumsey guy is Kate Garraway's ex... which could prove interesting....

Hello,
This is my first post. I am enjoying keeping up to date on all the developments at GMTV. I really like the "new GMTV", I think the changes they have made so far are enough - as already has been stated, GMTV is not meant to be BBC Breakfast or Sky News Sunrise - it's always been more light-hearted. Move to the new studio should be a definite (which has already been confirmed) but it is unfortunate that the Presenters are being changed. I would like to see Ben remain as anchor alongside Penny and Kate. Emma should be the newsreader, I also like Helen Fospero.

Eamonn Holmes was back on GMTV this morning Wink

I think David Cameron and Nick Clegg must be watching GMTV this morning, because they both left their houses during an ad break Cool

Everything seems to have gone quiet re Adrian's co-host. What about Kate Thornton? When the rumours about Eamonn were around they said she was going to be co-host, she may still be joining the presenting team - I think she is too good for Loose Women and would be great on GMTV.

Did anyone hear Andrew's comment when he was doing an interview on Friday, he said, "isn't it difficult talking to a network and being unsure about your future"...
