Gmtv to studio7 and LK to studio3.

Is that confirmed or just what you want to happen?

Studio 3 is Loose Women - and if LK is to have an audience, then it does make sense to just share the set. As for the main programme moving to Studio 7, it would be great. A nice space, just a little smaller than the current studio IIRC.

Can we return to a new interview area(s) - so we have the sofa or desk as a home base for the anchors

But that was the Lorriane Kelly area, not a designated news interview space

I hope this is what's happening, makes sense to use a real background than a fake one. The view is just wasted.

Yeah, according to Wikipidea ( realible , I know!)
Studio 5 is 2,268 sq ft (210.7 m2) & Studio 7 M is 2,050 sq ft (190 m2).

Picture of the view.

Real backgrounds (windows) place the one problem - lighting on a daily basis, one day you will see the presenters brilliantly the next day it could be dull with forced light shining onto the windows causing reflections etc. But I am sure there is a solution Rolling Eyes

I hope there will be different areas in this new GMTV studio: main desk area, sofa area, news interview

Makes sense, I hope they don't try and cover up the windows too much, the view is stunning and it really does deserve to be seen on screen everyday. They just need to make sure it looks right when its dark outside.

Lorraine moving also makes sense, I wonder if her show really will need to be live, or if they're gonna stick to recording it? Essentially it won't be part of GMTV in the way it is now it'll be a show in its own right.

Owfft! HD! Well I hope they don't destroy the graphics too much. I know for HD they'll probably have to be remade, but for once, I'm happy with the GMTV graphics. The shape and colour are great! And they still look good! Will it be a problem transferring VizRT to S7 because wasn't there a problem in the first place, that TLS wouldn't allow it? and will we still be having performances in the morning? or will they be moving over to Lorraines show? because that's something I also like about GMTV.

Given this is a total relaunch I doubt the graphics (or anything else) will be much the same after the relaunch.

So I wonder if the timing of Lorraine's show will change? Would make more sense to be from 9 - 10 than starting at 8.25 if it's having a studio audience. Weren't there mutterings of Jeremy Kyle being dropped?
