Yeah they certainly have gotten better. I can picture GMTV looking well if it had a busy live backdrop, a bit like Good Morning America. Also i'd like the longer titles back.
Oh i see, i would like them to change the actual set. Not too much, but i found this video on YouTube, im sure the person who captured it posts on here :

Now a backdrop like that would look so much better, or looking out on something similar.
Weren't Andrew and Kate wooden and nervous sounding back then
Although that view is ok, remember this was the summer. In the winter half the programme would be coming from practically a black screen
It is true, but surely if they have the typical GMTV set with light walls with the LED lighting, etc. The black will just look realistic to the world outside rather than the bright painted background, though I did like the old new background which viewers hated, it seemed to looked more realistic than the one that they always have.
What do people think of those promos that have been running, i think the slogan i seen was "All for You", and they have a promo announcing its business as usual on bank holiday Monday.
If they featured some more news starting in September, then i guess its step in the right direction, but if ratings are remaining consistant, and people like it then there is no reason to change the current format. We can all wish though.
Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but has anyone noticed the amount of sheets the presenters on GMTV use - there must be hundreds! What is on them? They only have a few guests, because of the amount of ads and the news bulletins take up a lot of time as well. Ridiculous waste of paper.
