The full original theme is still used in the studio during ad breaks, just incase something happens and they need to cross back to GMTV studio output quickly.

Are GMTV's ads played out by the studio or is there a pres area that does that?

Anyone have any ideas whether or not GMTV will be altering any of the graohics this year. They need to sort out the breaks and main ident graphics so it looks like the new GMTV today and also that studio has GOT to be updated.

Normally changes happen near the beginning of September. I captured last year's changes and put them on the forum. Does anyone know what we can expect from any changes this year?

If they do update their graphics, i'd expect the new breakbumpers, new weather graphics & new astons. I doubt they'd change the studio ..

Oh i see, i would like them to change the actual set. Not too much, but i found this video on YouTube, im sure the person who captured it posts on here :

Now a backdrop like that would look so much better, or looking out on something similar.

It is much better, mainly for the fact that you can see that its a live background. It would look better with the GMTV set around it in my opinion so its not just windows, maybe not with that GMTV logo on the wall that they have now though, maybe two sofas with a gap to reveal a fireplace?

Weren't Andrew and Kate wooden and nervous sounding back then

Although that view is ok, remember this was the summer. In the winter half the programme would be coming from practically a black screen
