Well speculation is rife this morning as to what will happen to GMTV. A full review in in swing and so big changes are expected as a result.

Hmm. I think that speculation started yesterday at around 10am! Keep up!

Buzz of you annoying gnat! It was in most of the papers on the morning I posted.

I hope the GMTV replacement looks something like this.

The opening titles are ok but I'm not liking the 'behind the scenes' shots. Don't really like the studio, especially the desk. It all looks very cold and uninviting. Confused

Oh for goodness sake, don't be so touchy. By definition newspapers print yesterday's news, but whatever - you shouldn't take things so personally!

Don't waste your time making pointless remarks then sunshine, just stick to the topic.

Newsroom, can we remove heads from bumholes and grab something from the sense of humour shop? You dour boob.

And why exactly would GMTV change its name to ITV Breakfast News? Moving in a COMPLETELY different direction from the one GMTV's audience is comfortable with? Some people are living in the realms of fantasy.

In the end, the only likely change that will probably happen is the kids programmes at the weekends. ITV wouldn't meddle with something popular on their hands.

If ITV were to rebrand GMTV I would guess it would be 'ITV Today' with bulletins on the half hour from 'ITV News'.

ITV News should get rid of ITN and move their service to the South Bank and merge theirselves with the GMTV news team.

Though as GMTV is being soundly beaten by Breakfast these days - is it that popular?

how much it will cost ITV to buy in the cartoons that where given to them free Via Disney?

I think it is popular - and Breakfast doesn't beat it by that much IIRC.

GMTV would have acquired any content from Disney under commercial terms.
