GMTV (1993 - 2010)

There is a proper News desk, unless you're suggesting GMTV should get a desk like ITV News had? Anyways, I believe that they're getting more news in, and I think it's fine. Except they got rid of the ticker, which I thought was a good addition.

The ticker however, was last seen during Doc. Hilary's advice saying, For more information go to gm.tv

EDIT: The ticker no longer fits in with the logo and time, it's a tadge above the clock and logo.

He is saying the ticker is 1 or 2 pixels above the clock and logo.

No idea why they removed it, but I originally thought they removed it because of the Gov. Party conferences, which made no sense, but then it didn't come back, which is a shame as it was useful for getting more on the story you caught the last five seconds on but also for weather and sometimes travel.

I agree. She has really come into her own of late and its great to see. Its no word of a lie that her popularity has rocketed during Kate's maternity leave; presenting more than usual. With Kate back next week, stability will return to GMTV!

Clare has had her baby! 7 weeks early and a difficult pregnancy but it all seems alright.

Very happy for her (and Chris) considering all of the problems she has had. She'll be back on GMTV in the new year

FYI Watch out for GMTV's Gloria De Piero guest presenting Five's 'Live From Studio Five' tonight. Alternatively don't watch out and watch 'Hollyoaks', 'ITV News' or 'The One Show'.

News at 9:00am today only lasted 34 seconds. Is it really worth it?
