NO, not permenant, only here to mark the anniversary of his big mistake aka THE BIG STORM!
I thought he was good, in an agesist way, I was surprised to see tht he coped with the graphics well!

I liked Michael. Mind on filling me in on 'The Great Storm' mistake he made?

Also, the only problem I had with him was that he stood in front of Ireland.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Alexandra Burke's performance on GMTV this morning, including what appeared to be a couple of video screens in the performance area, it certainly transformed it.
Does anyone know if this was GMTV who chose to use these or are they part of alexandra's promotion campaign that her promoters brought in?

Either way it made a difference to that part of the set. Even Lorraine commented afterwards saying how their little studio looked impressive.

It's an agreement that GMTV have with Simon Cowell acts. The label design one-off installations to work in the performance area. The thinking being that clips from GMTV are likely to end up on Youtube. Same done for Escala

Kirsty back for a week and the date bar at the TOTH is now horizontal, which makes it easier to read - plus, Ben's back and there's still no news ticker, scrapped?

I was asked about news ticker on GMTV viewback survey,had I noticed it had gone, did I like it, and did I want it to return . I said Yes,also questioned about gmtv having a resident sports presenter.

I would also like to see the news tikker come back personally, but maybe it could run though regional news? just as an Idea.

Think that would mean ticker hardware for every regional gallery and also local production for the ticker if it were to contain regional stories.

I think that tickers are over-rated on non-continuous news channels - people think they look newsy, but I don't think viewers actually value them as much as producers sometimes think.

This mornings GMTV was riddled with technical defects. The wrong VTs kepp appearing. The most frequent 'bad' VT was the competition one which kept appearing all the time. Even through to Lorraine's slot, the same thing happened. Ealier in the morning, Ben appologised for it.

Good blooper today, Emma Crosby said 'bloody' but quickly corrected herself!
