I noticed the new Male announcer, who hasn't been announced it before. I believe it's because the female announce will announce GMTV & the presenters. Yet today, they had Penny in London and John in Manchester so another announcer announced it. John was a main presenter at the TOTH at 7, with Emma Crosby and Andrew Castle in London, and John Stapleton in Manchester.
As for the GMTV logo's on the glass in their Manchester set-up, I believe there are in use at the Web-TV Studio that JLS Launched.
We should get that Daily Fail journo and put him on a bungee jump. See if he swears at all.
Johnathon Swain didin't actually swear. He just said "Fuuu." "Faaaa." "Shi."
Now that sounds like a plan . The Daily Mail really is proving yet again it's a rubbish Newspaper.
Well done to Jonathan Swain for doing something like that live on tv. He didn't even swear either and gave plenty of warning that he might. As far as i can see if we are given plenty of warnings that an expletive may be coming (like we were) then people should have no reason to complain. The choice is there for them to mute the sound.
also liking the new Headlines Strap that comes up at quarter past & quarter two.
It's hideous. They have a great news logo and in Futura Ultra Bold next to it, twice the size "HEADLINES".
It is rank.
Totally agree, not only have they abolished the news from the desk which was a stupid decision, they can't even be bothered to make the current set up decent!
Well I don't know what you expect. Im sure the message the are trying to get across is that they are "Headlines", so why wouldn't they make that stand out?

What makes your opinion any more valid than those who think the changes have improved the programme?
This goes to the lot of you children posting things like "stupid decision", "can't be bothered", "more training needed" - do a media studies course when you grow up enough to be given a choice. You'll actually be taught to analyse why things are done in the media, and it's almost certainly never because someone makes a stupid decision, people can't be bothered to do something or the people working are insufficiently trained. There's a lot of posts on this thread from people who think they know everything - you're wrong.
I know people who have, and still do, work on GMTV. I find it very insulting to their skills and abilities when you lot decide they're idiots because something changes which you don't like. I'm confident that none of you posting these comments would be able to last more than 5 minutes doing their jobs.
If you're going to keep posting such stupid things, at least back them up with some reasoning. If you think something is a stupid decision, state why.

Want to put money on that?

I love this forum. People attack GMTV for not being "newsy enough".
They cannot get it into their heads, its not a news programme. It's a Breakfast TV Channel, offering a variety of content. And they also do not understand, that some people may not prefer hard hitting news first thing in the morning. And there are ALTERNATIVES.
As for the "HEADLINES" graphics. It that affects your viewing soo much, then don't watch. There are other other channels offering news from a desk in the morning, and GMTV is not one of them, get over it!

Skyfan, don't get the wrong idea. I was merley saying my opinion, which is allowed, that the "HEADLINES" text was too large. That's all, if you don't like my opinion, stop reading.

Then what would be the point of a forum, if I stopped reading everything I didn't like?
