She is not coming back to GMTV. Its about her brining out a new Fitness DvD!

Its probably something daft like shes going to be on Minute TV or whatever its called (that thing where they have washed up celebrities who aren't even good enough for Loose Women teaching us how to paint or cook for a minute). But if Fiona does want to come back, and management want her back, I can see her filling the vacated 8.35am-9.25am slot on a Friday.

That's probably most sensible. I thought Fiona was at her best with Eamonn.

I think a GMTV With Fiona Show would be ok on Fridays to Start with, then after a while she can maybe take lorraines slot in the holidays.

Yeah I think she'd be good at that, and I think she would be better on a more entertainment based show. I s'pose its best now though that she's staying away!

brilliant performance from GMTV at the Labour Conference, coverage was precise and mostly accurate and I highly enjoyed the interview between John and Peter Mandelson, well mannered friendly and right for Morning TV, if only GMTV was more news based, eh, it would be brilliant. Very Happy Smile

I gather Fiona 'introduced' Alan Johnson at the Labour Conference today.

Are we talking vomit inducing or worse?

worse, she proclaimed she "loved him" and used Mandelson catchphrase, "If I can make a comeback, we can make a comeback" in reference to her maybe coming back to television.

The studio used in Brighton to cover the conference, interviewees were Mandelson and Brown, was quite nice. Bit stuffy and over customised but cozy, very GMTV!!!

How could she possibly go back into proper journalism after doing something like that?

Fiona was offered a job within the labour party a year or two ago.
