I love how Lorraine goes " sorry, it's making me laugh"
It's nice to hear her scottish accent coming out a little stronger

You can hear someone else (presumably a female crew member) laughing as well. I never knew they played such sound effects into the studio.

I think the TOTH sequence would look better if rather than the logo flipping over and acting like a wipe, if the logo zoomed in giving the illusion of the camera going through the letters. It seems a bit drawn out when the logo zooms in then flips over.

Can someone in the know explain? Does it go through her ear-piece?

I've always thought presenters didn't hear the music (hence why when BBC News used to have its thunderclaps already burnt into the headline bed sometimes they'd be read over etc.).

I thought they had the music through the talkback so they know when to speak. With the gallery team talking over the top.

Thanks for the Lorraine Vid,

The '' lorraine '' wispars are stupied, i wonder who thought of that Embarassed Laughing

I think the whispers are really good. A great idea to make the show seem a bit more unique and separate to the main show.

I didn't like the whispers, they seemed odd, and it obviously distracted Lorraine!

And, I think someone asked why there was no announcer for Lorraine / pointed out there wasn't one I believe it was because it would be odd to say, This is GMTV with Lorraine, with Lorraine Kelly.

"This is GMTV, With Lorraine Kelly"

Not too odd.

Why not 'You're watching GMTV with Lorraine'

I think then it's a little bit obvious who the presenter is don't you?

You're watching GMTV with Lorraine is fine, but some people like the full announcer name, so I was saying that saying the show name and then her name would be odd.

It would be odd, so that's why you wouldn't say her full name. But Lorraine is such a distinguished and recognised figure of Breakfast TV, that very few wouldn't know her full name lol!!

An interesting couple of days on GMTV, the Lorraine whispers are creepy, weird & uncalled for.

As for the lights going out, there's a brief glimpse at 11 seconds as they go out where the ambient lighting goes out, and the backing goes dark, the set looks lovely and cosy, and part of me hopes that they could do this for winter, to try and create the light outside, obviously they won't be able to get it pitch black like the darkest winter mornings at 6am, but a deep blue looks a lot more realistic than the midday sun.

Also around 39 seconds when the work lights go up, everything looks very natural, the presenters need a bit of light, but the set is not overly lit, and the background shows how good the quality of it is showing the actual tones of the buildings against a light blue backing before the background is returned to pink (???) a few seconds later which I've always considered very strange.

Yes, the pink is awful
