Thanks for those, but the selected cap looks like it has been done using word art. It would look better if the text was kept at the proper size instead of squashed and scrolled along the screen like a large ticker. Alternatively they could have it on two lines but that's just silly how it is. But I suppose they never really had time to prepare for it, breaking news banner is used once in a blue moon on GMTV.
They could also do with a spell checker.

The whispers are embarrassingly awful, as is the breaking strap. Displaying the date sideways up is also pretty hideous, and the TOTH transition looks like a mock-up.
Apart from that, a perfect new look!

Sounds like Lorraine finds them distracting too. I think bringing in the vizrt mixer has made them a bit 'graphics happy' or mad in this case.However it is a good asset for them and will allowthem to operate a more versatile program. I just hope that they don't americanise it by overdooing the effects and graphics.

Think they've already got to that stage with the 3D logo coming right at you at the TOTH.
I really hope they change the coming up boxes already, I like how the studio transitions out with the focus/fade style, but that's all I like about it.
And maybe keep the 3D news image on the screen and not have it fade to the 2D image after it animates... yes I've noticed

I think they are all live in the first week of any changes. Same thing happened in January with the new set, the first week all her programmes were live. I'm guessing its incase they change any of the new things half way through the week it keeps it consistent.
