I don't normally watch Lorraine's show but I caught the beginning this morning just so that I could see what her titles were now like. During the "Coming Up" at the beginning of the programme, between the pictures LORRAINE swiped across and "Lorraine" was whispered. Is this new? I thought it was not only distracting but also a bit stupid.

I imagine it was new because Lorraine started giggling at the noise during the opening segment of the programme, then apologised. It sounded ridiculous.

quite true, they should get Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Kate and Ben thurs and fri

Doesn't seem to be captioned live by a person, as some simple words which are said clearly come up as something completely different. And also, it skips parts of a sentence, usually the important bit, and catches only half of the number when the whole thing is on screen!
And By the way, couldn't they use the tele-prompt script to caption it, I know the tele-prompt doesn't last the whole show, but some of it surely!
