The new strap animations look nice... but that's about all. When this was introduced it was so clean and fresh and now it just looks plain cheesy...

I think NBC Today has found its way to ITV1..... or was I watching gmtv this morning

I like the TOTH, the voiceover. But then - I'm just not sure. I don't like the full screen top story boxes, it looks a bit tacky.

This revamp isn't anything special really - I think I prefered the simpleness of the old strap animations.

I have to say, I quite like the new revamp, but, I think it would be more effective if we had the headlines to begin with before the title sequence and voiceover,

also the voiceover, does sound a lot like a professional text to speech software

I think Lorraines Programme is a Little over the top- as it is not a serious news programme. They should have kept it the old way.

I don't like the News logo flip on the news TV screen. It looks like a Powerpoint custom animation.

I don't have any emotional investment in all this, but ignoring that, I actually rather like the boxed top story animation, but completely, utterly loathe the logo zoom at the TOTH - the zoom is far too protracted, and should fall out of frame before it fills it. Right now the sense of perspective is shot to p*ss.

Just caught up with it on Sky+ and I have to say i do like it. It looks inspired by NBC Today. They also used NBC News footage this morning, which got me wondering why not ABC News, as Disney have a stake in it?

The ticker in that video wasn't on long ( at the start) !
