Interesting information on Wikipedia, concerning GMTV, have a read below:
From September 2009, GMTV will see a massive improvement with 3D graphics and logos, better animations using VizRT, glass wipes, voice overs, extension of the new opening and ending sequences, new set, new website design at www.gm.tv, new theme music and headline beds and a new essentially fundamental look. Also smooth and slick transitions and huge technical upheavals. The programming has also changed with GMTV now running for 210 minutes.
What's on GMTV:
6.00 to 7.30 am - A 90 minute show devoted to news and current affairs presented by John Stapleton, Penny Smith, Priya-Kaur Jones or Richard Gaisford.
7.30 to 8.30 am - An hour show kicking off with the morning news, views, weather, human-interest stories, entertainment, showbiz, lifestyle features and special guests presented by Emma Crosby & Andrew Castle or Ben Shephard & Kate Garraway .
8.30 to 9.25 am - Lorraine Kelly presents.
There are significant changes in GMTV's service provision planned in 2009. During late 2009, GMTV plan to move GMTV to Lorraine from 09:25am to 10:00am. GMTV will also be adding further exclusive webcast content. This means GMTV will broadcast the full 205 minutes from 06:00am to 9:25am then after the main show, Lorraine will take over for half-hour. This is to be promoted on-air and to drive viewers to continue their viewing experience on GMTV. In addition viewers will soon see the full development of GMTV programming between 06:00am and 09:30am on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. The pre-school programming will move to ITV4 provided by UK independent production company Darrall Macqueen Limited. This is an area where GMTV intend to develop further there commitment to seek partnerships with British pre-school programming makers and to make GMTV a new home for this threatened genre of programming. GMTV are also continuing to develop our digital children's output via ITV4 where they are also seeing some success and making some move towards picking up some of the audience that they have lost from the weekday terrestrial programme to this area.
Can anyone confirm if the above is true?
No new set, no new programming, no new music.
Same titles with an animating 3d GMTV logo flying forward to reveal a back of studio shot and a V/O (female) saying "You're watching GMTV with Xxxx & Xxxx"
New straps, new longer ticker, new animations, new glass wipes.
That bit about continuing until 10.00 sounds very dubious given the licensing arrangements
It's not
impossible,
and wouldn't really require a change to the license. It would just be a matter of GMTV selling Lorraine's programme to ITV and them broadcasting it as a 'GMTV Production for ITV' from 9:25 to 10:00.
It would certainly fill some of the gap created by getting rid of the Jeremy Kyle Chav-fest.
It was on Wikipedia, which means the poster who posted it here, went onto Wiki, typed it themselves and then posted it here, as if they have just discovered it in amazement.

It seems like who ever did it reads TVF as details about the changes can only b e found on this froum as far as I know. For al we know, someone could be trying to cover themselves...one trick pony???
