I can't decide if it was obvious and you are the only person to bother saying anything or if it was subtle and you are the only person to notice. What do you think?

Thanks for the capture! It was good see after so much controversy over the fact that camera angles have been mentioned twice!!

It was rather a mix of both.

Kind of a crap controversy.

In talk of the regional news, I do like the size of the news clock over the standard GMTV one.
I've just been looking through Youtube, and I do like the backing used for GMTV Northern Ireland (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldAr-upXsmk) if this is what they use. Wouldn't something like this with a moving landscape look a bit better in the main GMTV news area?

Was it me, or was it weird seeing a man read the news on GMTV, not bad, but strange.

The only problem with the NI Background is that the News Logo isn't set very well underneath the GMTV logo. And to do with a Man (Nick), reading the News, I find it odd too. He looks too big to fit in the frame.

They lost Kirsty at 6:30 today. Clare was there today talking about Hurricane Bill so she stood in.
Also, very nice closing shot today, that's all I'm saying!

I was glad to hear the news sting at 8 today was changed back to the sting heard at the beinning of the year. Whether it was a slip up or a permanent move, I always thought the current news sting is more wimpy than the strong tune associated with the music from 2008, used as a tempoary messure earlier this year.
I didn't catch the TOTH at 7 though, did anyone notice a difference here?

After they forked out a lot of money for the new music, I don't think it's permanent.

This morning's close was rather good.

I prefer it when we get to see the cameras and other parts of the set, but this wasn't bad. Wink

Now Martin Frizzell has got the last 60 seconds of the show right, he can work on the other 3 hours and 24 minutes.

He can change the titles and music as much as he wants to make it like NBC's Today Show. It's the lacklustre content, non-existent news coverage, unimaginative competitions and cheap fillers (No1 Family) that ensure GMTV can never come close to being like the proper breakfast shows in America.
