Does any Forumers in the know know why it is that during the ITV LONDON regional opt - outs on GMTV that the GMTV News logo / clock does not appear on screen ?
All other regions (with the exception of non ITV plc ones) are participating in showing the News logo / clock aren't they ?
Wonder why ITV LONDON have not had their orders from GMTV Management in London to show these during opt - outs the same as when at Christmas time when they are told they want a Christmas Tree on display in the Studio during the GMTV Early Morning Bulletins even if they don't have a tree on display during the ITV Regional Bulletins if you know what I mean

I thought London did have the DOG, whenever I've seen it there's a DOG on screen. Don't they call it GMTV London or something silly like that?

I'm talking about going forward from today. If they are doing different shots "every day" as mentioned in the thread, then perhaps those who want to see all these variations could plan in advance.
Otherwise this thread is going to get very monotonous to read.

TV Capture cards are cheap these days. It won't hurt to buy one.
Perhaps one of you who want to see it could record, capture and upload yourself as a matter of course.

ITV LONDON has not adopted the dog. It doesn't have the normal 'London' in the ITV font with underneath the News logo (used on Penny's plasma at the news desk) it may have a clock but it is not the GMTV clock...
Having watched London Today bulletin, ITV LONDON are not using a GMTV News DOG!

In talk of the regional news, I do like the size of the news clock over the standard GMTV one.
I've just been looking through Youtube, and I do like the backing used for GMTV Northern Ireland (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldAr-upXsmk) if this is what they use. Wouldn't something like this with a moving landscape look a bit better in the main GMTV news area?
Was it me, or was it weird seeing a man read the news on GMTV, not bad, but strange.
