I doubt it would be any longer than that, with the new name straps. It wouldn't be necessary.

"You're".

Although I admit it would be difficult for the audience to tell the difference between the spellings.

Sorry, my mistake. You wouldn't think I got an A in English Language Embarassed

I doubt the voiceover 'man' (it could be a female!!) would mention the date as otherwise he wil have to be recroded saying every date that GMTV is on. And if he tells the time, they have to account for the number of times when the TOTH titles are early or late. eg: 7:58, 7:59, 8:01...ect.

Why not? They have the facilities to do it.

I really can't see that happening. They're not going to have a live announcer every day and to pre-record enough voiceovers to cover every possibility would be far too much hassle. I think they'll go for something far more generic.

Well wouldn't be impossible, they would only need the voice to record the dates 1st - 31st, then each of the twelve months and the year and then put all the pieces together at the time of broadcast, a bit too much fuss though I would imagine.

Voiceover seems pointless to me, it did when they used to do it also.

The voiceover will most likely be like the old one. "You're watching GMTV with __________"

I don't expect much more than that. They'll probably record a few variants for any combination of Andrew/Ben/John and Carla/Emma/Kate/Penny with a generic one ("Good morning, you're watching GMTV") if they have any other stand ins.

Also on the subject of Carla, I thought she was ridiculous as LA correspondant but she has really surprised me lately. She has been very capable and empathetic, and when the next female steps down from GMTV they don't need to look for a replacement.

I have to say that does sound very good, and seems more suited for GMTV, than any of the other suggestions, but, I do think, it will say the name of the presenters too.

"It's 6 O' Clock, you're with GMTV on 31st August 2009 with Penny Smith & John Stapleton".

Looking forward though to the Autumn Revamp Very Happy

Please repair your post so it doesn't say I posted it.

Carla Romano seems to be at ease when relief presenting. I much prefer her in this role than LA Correspondent. Seems genuine and clearly has a good friendship with Mr Castle.

I have to agree with you Primetime, Carla is good relief presenting, but, I would like to see her and Ben get on better instead of putting on false smiles.
