GMTV (1993 - 2010)

Claire is on full time so is Andreas cover ... and I prefered it when I could see the floor when she did the weather, it was what made if different to other weather forecasts as the map was bigger but now theyve gone back

I hate the way they have changed the weather camera angle, it looks as though Claire in squashed into a shoe box and that shes going to fall of the floor

Yes, this morning, they filmed from waist height and the map looked like Claire could walk 3 steps to the other side. She also blocked most of the map out for most of the forecast through no fault of her own.

Does anyone have captures of the opening? Is it just the same as the stings?

The opening titles to GMTV Today are still the same, no music change, just the blue has snow flakes around.

LK Today titles have flakes on them and bells in the music. Not sure about Newshour as im not up that early.

All the stings, both the GMTV sting and the GMTV Today sting are using the traditional Christmas GMTV theme

That was actually based on the GMTV theme that was phased out about 6 years ago!

I have to say even though a great fan of Gmtv, very sloppy this morning.
The pre title bed was pretty low, then the title's music barely came on. The presenter bed was also a bit of a rush. Fiona looked a bit lost and the close up to andrew seemed wasted and looked out of place. And just generally a bit strange - not the slick usual - are they hung over from an office party or something???

The music has been a bit out of time and the sound has gone quiet then loud
