I still feel that although GMTV looks and feels great, the news presentation area is still diabolical. I preferred it in January! We need to see more of Penny's desk like we did when the new set launched. I also think we need to see more of the whole news area, as it is actually quite big! and what is the point of the windows behind the news reader and not be able to see them! I know the picture in the window is horrific in terms of quality and clarity but lets celebrate it!!

Yes. First week of September. Very smooth and slick transitions. Huge technical upheaval. Should look good.

Are they keeping the current graphics in terms of shape, size & position & simply animating them, or will it be a new shiny package?

Monday 31st August at 0600 to be precise. Same titles but more will happen at the end of them...

Key points...

- 3D logo
- Better animations using VizRT
- Glass wipes
- Voice over at the top of the hour

Same set, same music and essentially same fundamental look that RedBee came up with just 'jazzed up' you could say and a massive improvement.
