Anyone see at 7.10 Regions returning and then the Competition VT Text came on and then cut to the ident used On the Power Cut Day ?

Loving the 'POWER CUT DAY' phrase, a bit of GMTV history was made then!!

Can't see anything wrong in there myself.

In the final couple of bars of music you can (just) hear the end sting being played over the top.

I never watch GMTV - but its a really nice tune, isn't it?

Yes it's the best theme music GMTV has ever had by far, also I hope the themes get released someday.

At 08:07 this morning ITV Yorkshire nearly had an opt - out with about 15 seconds of breakdown music. Did anybody else have any probolems?

Yeah same, I was so eager when It switched on to the Music I thought very much It would opt-out, unfortunately it didn't

Hopefully soon It will haha, and then John with his long smile & Hand actions lol, and caught the last bit of the Ident

I'd also argue this is the best look GMTV has ever had. It looks clean and fresh. Might even improve with the new graphics system.

Meridian didn't quite have 15 seconds of music but we did get to hear a few notes. At the end of the regional news, we saw a long shot of Amanda Piper sitting for about 10 seconds followed by 30-40 seconds of a silent but animated GMTV logo. Just before 8:12 we went back to GMTV where they were mid interview.

Did this happen in all regions (i.e. part of GMTV was missed)? The subtitles didn't carry on until Meridian had opted back in, so either this happened in all regions or the person doing the subtitles was watching in the Meridan region.

The STV Central had just under a minute of the breakdown music at the beginning of the 8 o'clock bulletin.
