GMTV (1993 - 2010)

I don't think that different regions have different music. The music we hear at a breakdown come direct from Studio 5 at TLS (GMTV). The regions are then switched from there from BT (I think?) so only the one network feed plays with music

Yes, I did like the conservatory, they also used a balcony at the 7am TOTH I believe. coulda done with a lick of paint in the conservatory but was certainly a lovely view. no cheap printed backdrop! maybe that's what they need. Pity they couldn't get the Skyline Studio. That would be great for the morning! Only problem is that there wont be really any room for live performances =/

Skyline would great although its not that GMTV and quite exclusive and expensive to run but I suppose with good lighting it could look warmer!!

HEY ALL, check this out, then click the studio tab, then studio 5. worth noticeing that nearly all the studios have things in common. For example the 'hallway' in the centre right of the studios where the modelling is done has been in the last couple of studios. What is the need for the doorway in the left hand corner??? i didn't think it went anywhere in particular

Isn't the opt out music just the coming up bed used on the programme? I think they're the same.

Did anybody like how Richerd Arnold was Doing his Talking Tele in the main Anchor Position on the GMTV Sofa this morning? He also said he wants to do a ''GMTV With Richerd'' Show aswell. Personally I think 3 minuites is enough for Richerd Arnold on the TV.

I assumed the regions were switched by the two playout centres, Leeds and London. NI and Scotland are probably handled differently, and Channel will opt themselves into circuit.

I'm not sure about that. I just thought I'd seen something on here about BT handling the feeds to the regions.

Not sure if I'm following you completely but I can confirm that the switch to the local opt outs is done from the GMTV gallery and switched by the PA, the regions can manually over-ride if the opt doesn't 'take'. The music that runs throughout is attached to the end of the GMTV opt out sting run from the control room at TLS.

Is it me or is Richard Arnold the most annoying person on morning Tv, or on any genre of tv output. I just can't stick him. granted, some of his quips are humorous but other than that, he's a waste of space (and money) Anyone agree....thought not!!!

Na I really like Dicky Arnold. Just adds abit of light humour and can be very funny, especially on friday when he was in the main presenting position.

that's ture he wasn't bad then and I sonetimes find him great, its just that lack of consistency sometimes. I still find the relationship between him and the presenters somewhat awkward???
can't wait until kate gets back after giving birth. She does my head-in when she's pregnant lol!!!aww I like kate mind!!!!

If Richerd Arnold ever got his own show , I wonder what titles they would use, maybe the Same theme as Lorraines but just change the name to Richerd and a new video?
