That sounds AMAZING!

It strikes me that they've went down the route of NBC Today in America, they have an ultra modern set of graphics and set, but they've kept the same orchestral music.

I am so glad GMTV decided to remake the orchestral music, it sounds lovely!

I think the moral of the story here is that there will always be refuseniks that can't bring themselves to stomach a compliment for something they have spent so long blindly criticising.
I'm particularly amused by the poppycock from the BBC Tristram who appears to have written and signed off the rule book on interviewing.

Would have helped if your actual post didn't HAVE to include the natural reflex hit out at the BBC.

Like I said, GMTV looks a lot softer and cosier, and Kate hosted a good discussion.

Praise where praise is due indeed. Now let's go to Carla, who'll shout at me from Hollywood about who's been doing charlie in the toilets.

You've just proven anoilyrag's point really.

That Closing tune sounds great! Is there Audience info to see whether since the relaunch, more viewers have watched GMTV?

Did anyone request this?

LK Today's last theme.

The 'closing theme with closing image of the morning' thing is one producer's signature from what I understand. It's not part of the programme format, so don't get used to it.

I've really enjoyed the new GMTV music. It's only a matter of time before the region opt-out fails and we get the breakdown music. Judging by the first few seconds of it, it sounds great.

Initially, I didn't really like the music, but it has certainly grown on me.

Would anyone happen to know who composed the ditched GMTV music?

Er - it'll be the same composer since 1993, albeit a different ARRANGER.

According to anoilyrag, the images on the ident will change according to the seasons throughout the year.

I can't remember how long that backdrop lasted. About a month? Perhaps someone could confirm that for you. The GMTV page on TV-Ark is quite helpful. Click here

Less than that I think, wasn't it only a couple of days?

EDIT: And that clip is from the 3rd day of it as it launched on 31st August.
