Kirsty was good but she needs to get used to the weather map a little more, but thats expected to be honest. For her its probably like learning to walk again.

I wasn't a fan when she used to present (I like her as a person though) but it was nice to see Fiona too when she was being interviewed for the documentary on tonight, if not a little odd Laughing. Instances like that always are weird, another example being when Kate Garraway gave an interview with a few others from Strictly Come Dancing back in 2007.

It was a little odd, for a minute i thought it was just true GMTV style that everything had been returned to how it was before Laughing

I'm sure they have dropped the backdrop down slightly, all seems more at eye level now.

Was the news on the other side of the studio today, to the right of it rather than the left?

Seemed like the desk had been switched round, with the newsreaders back to the smaller window

I hope they perhaps think about up-lighting from the floor behind the plasma at the news area. It's still got a ghastly shadow behind it.

From the shots used on 'with Lorraine' when the desk is removed their seems to be an orange/yellow light at the bottom of the plasma stand (or there was), similar to the ones behind the sofa.

And Lorraine's show seemed to be recorded today as she did the coming up bit at 7:50 in front of the catwalk entrance thing. Also they replaced the papers and orange juice on the table with a china teapot, cups and saucers.

Do you think the set would look better if they added things, such as a few plants, or some shelving similar to the Andrew Marr show?

No. That is what they did to the last set, and it totally ruined it - the set became very old-fashioned and cluttered.

Never having been a fan of GMTV before, I find the new look and " format " far more tolerable. And if, like me, you sometimes only do have 10 or 15 minutes to watch it is useful.

I find Breakfast far too bland nowadays...

Watched a bit of GMTV between half 8 and 9 this morning for the first time in ages. Emma very good as she was on Sky, though she got the name of Lady GaGa's single wrong Wink

However what really annoyed me was a piece on cheap fashion for exercise. £50 leggings, £100+ trainers. Don't think they know what cheap is
