Where are those new weather graphics?

I'm guessing the whole 'idents matching the type of weather' thing has gone out the window. And the new music was either too bad to use or not ready in time?

Like any other GMTV 'relaunch', its all a big fuss over nothing. I hope they didnt spend loads on it because the average viewer won't have even noticed anything's changed. All they seem to have done to the set is buy a smaller, cheaper version. And in 2009, that backdrop is shameful... you can see creases in it and i'm not even sure it's put up straight!

The clock needs to be alot smaller. The ticker colour is awful. The set looks dated already. There's WAY too much news.

I know, every 15 minutes it seems.

First of all I'd like to say that I'm really grateful for all the info anoilyrag gave us before the 'relaunch'....however I can't help but feel...disappointed. With the changes that have been made, I just think 'what was the point?'

I really don't know what has been gained by the changes. I think that change was definitely needed but nothing really has. I sound awfully negative - I do like the new desk, I do like the news intro graphics, I like the potential the news area has and the way the astons are consistent, but it really does look like a smaller, cheaper version of the previous look.

The chance was there, the potential for change was there, but in this case I just think they've missed the point...

Ah well, back over to Breakfast - still looking the same but remaining fresher and more modern than this latest effort from GMTV, disapponted!

Good in places. Not sure about the blury lava lamp titles.

And whats with the Cheryl Cole battling the bulge story, who cares?!?!

Is this really a relaunch? I like the ticker, but the slightly modified set is embarrassing in 2009. The headlines at 0715 feel weird and lack the energy of the old style presenter headlines. I bet they'll change it.

And why did the bosses revert to the OLD music when (as we know) new music was composed? My jaw ISN'T dropping.

Hate to say I told you so but.....I told you so.

Not so sure on it. Like the new graphics, but disappointed with a lack of new theme tune.

I think the screen behind Penny when she reads the news needs to be dropped down by a foot or so.

And Richard Arnold just told Todd Carty that he can rely on GMTV's 6 million viewers voting for him in Dancing on Ice on Sunday!!

Personally, I like the new look.

It'll make me sound stupid, but I lost sleep over it and think the water colour look of the titles hark back to the original TV-AM ident at start up?

Its nice, the set is gahstly though.
