Knowing that GMTV come from the rather smallish studio5 at the London Studios, why on earth dont they move to the currently vacant studio 7! For those of youwho never had the pleasure of seeing London tonight in the good old days it has a fantastic view! http://www.londonstudios.co.uk/index2.htmSee here, for yourselves! It would not only be a nice backdrop but also GMTV could be versitile and use different corners of the studio, for different shows like ET or LKT. I just know that this place is born for GMTV.
Does anyone think that John and Penny would be great hosting GMTV Today. They work really well together on the Newshour, that way the news edge is there (Jon), with a hint of light entertainment stuff (Penny).
Wasn't it mentioned earlier that nothing is going to change? It's not like GMTV to not change anything, even if it's to rejig the graphics a bit. Is it just me that doesn't like the current on screen astons, etc. I much prefered the solid ones before that animated lovely.
I was watching it thinking about the background. Couldn't they install a similar set up behind the set as BBC News with the screens? That way they could keep changing the view until the viewers like it, and could actually have a live view, rather than the sun shining at 6am on a January morning.
I suppose if the screens backed onto the studio wall, it wouldn't take up that much more room, if any as that wouldn't need to back light the screen.
they just show what kind of an outfit GMTV is.The Newshour should be separate from the fluff on GMTV Today and have a whole different set of astons etc

If ITVplc ever own GMTV outright (don't they own 75% at the moment?) I wouldn't be surprised if the newshour becomes standard "ITV News"-branded (theatre of news, and all), and the GMTV name therefore doesn't appear until 7am each day!
