GMTV (1993 - 2010)

I thought I'd post thos description of GMTV on Monday 5 January (taken from DigiGuide):

"Start the New Year off with the new-look GMTV, with the latest news, showbiz, entertainment, health and lifestyle features. Including GMTV with Lorraine Kelly, and Talking Telly with Richard Arnold. Today, Kelly Brook talks about her latest projects, and Spooks star Hermione Norris talks about the latest series of Kingdom."

GMTV with Lorraine Kelly and Talking Telly with Richard Arnold - please don't tell me those are going to be actual programme names...

They just played a montage of Fiona with Richard Arnold, i thought it was a bit of a strange time to play a montage, i would have thought they would have left the montage until they leave at 8:30/9:20?

They've got all the presenters on the sofa now, although there's been no sign of Eammon.

I think that was a really good send off for Fiona and which ever way you look at it, it does mark the end of an era so to speak. Roll on 2009

It was a sad day, I know theres a few people who don't like her, but she really is down to earth and she showed that today. It was a nice send off for her.

Now its all eyes on 2009!

Fiona's last day & everything still quiet regarding the revamp in the GM TV post !

On another matter wonder what the new studio will look like ? will we recognise parts of the old studio at all once the new one is in place or will there be a totally brand new look like never before with either GM TV or any other Breakfast programme ?

Will there be a sofa ? rumour has it that BBC Breakfast are changing theirs ? I don't know wether this means that they are changing the whole look of the BBC News programme or just the sofa ?

Whatever happens with the GM TV set PLEASE no more cardboard cut outs of the London skyline as a back drop

If they are going to have a London backdrop can we please have it on proper screens similar kind of thing that ITV regional news programmes do if you know what i mean ?

then again a London skyline might not be part of the new studio set up

can't believe that Fiona has now left & still no press releases or inside information on what the studio set up will look like

I'm not sure they could've squeezed him in as well, even if he was prepared to attend

have you deleted it or has [MMTV - A troll who is banned from TVForum] reported the vid .

I haven't deleted the photobucket file it was linked to, Mr Beep-Chubby, so I shall upload another one and just edit the post above with a new URL.

I've never had anything deleted from photobucket, so far as I know; although I've had quite a few deleted from YouTube by those nasty people at ITV plc, accompanied by a threatening email!

Sorry, I wasnt acusing you, it's on gm.tv anyway.

Well i'm pleased she had a nice send off. Won't really be the same without her.
