People paying attention to GMTV this morning will have heard the little comment made by Fiona that the theme tune to GMTV is 15 years old (she was making reference that its been there as long as her), they would then have heard Andrew say "yes and it's all change in January". Fiona also mentioned that her last show would be Thursday 18th December.
Yea i did notice that. They also had problems with the weather as well. Andrew said that there was a lot in store next week, i assume with suprises. Do you think its possible that Eammon would make a one off return?
They'll probably put together a short VT of her laughing moments, like they do on This Morning. Pity to see her go. She's worked there about the same time as i've been around (15 years :O) So I've grown up with her on Breakfast TV.
I hope they do a GMTV Uncut on the website and possibly on the telly to show them what happened. This is the first MAJOR relaunch since it began, changing the Singature music and the "sun on water" logo

Yes there appeared to be a problem with overlaying Andrea onto the weather graphics, was very flashy (and got pulled off early as a result). We got her audio only for the first half of the weather at 07:30 and it was still a bit shaky when she came into vision. Also at the 07:00 opening of GMTV Today a script from the Newshour had obviously not made it over the sofa (where the presenters throw them when used if you didn't know already) and decided to attach itself to the Christmas Tree.

I will miss Fiona too. When GMTV launched i was in my first year of senior school and it's when i started taking notice of the news so you could say i grew up with her too. GMTV was a little more News focused back then than it is now but that may all be about to change by the sounds of it. I always remember her as the Los Angeles reporter when those big earthquakes struck California (1993 or 1994?).

She was talking about that on the P O'G show last week. Any pics of the tree script or Andrea??
Which reminds me. No one is talking about Andreas sad departure too. I'm going to miss her. as much as i like Clare (or however you spell it) She's not the same as Andrea, she's not as funny.. Clare just gets on with it.

I don't like her but it will be sad to see her go- shes part of the furniture at GMTV imo.
I'm glad someone agrees with the fact of missing Fiona. The thing is if she was really that bad she wouldn't have lasted this long. I don't like the way that people on this forum dislike her, I think you need somebody like Fiona on breakfast TV. She's bubbly but at the same time she can do the serious stuff too. I will miss her and Andrea but I am looking forward to the new GMTV. I just wish they werent changing everything. Any chance of a preview of the logo yet anoilyrag????????????????????
I like the way that everyone always asks 'anoilyrag' for info. I'm slightly worried that the new girl is going to make it a bit more 'newsy' and bring some Sky News to GMTV. I hope this doesn't happen. I like GMTV for the fact that it's not too newsy and more of a bubbly happy programme, yet serious when it has to be.
Seems they have a jib now, can't they start with a wide shot of the studio for the TOTH from 2009??

Eamonn?? I hope your kidding! Eamonn and GMTV management do not mix and I dont think Fiona has any contact anymore, which is a real shame because they made a brilliant double act!
