Why doesn't GMTV start at 6 and end at 9?

As GMTV has a seperate licence to broadcast on Channel 3 from 6am-9.25am every day meaning they would be loosing out financially. Anytime ITV has gone into GMTV's space, i.e. with the Formula 1, they have to ensure GMTV gets airtime in ITV's space normally filled with kids programmes.

ITV own the majority of GMTV, along with someone else, so there is no reason, I'd say, is stopping them [to reduce GMTV's on-air time].

GMTV is still a separate company with its own board etc. Just because Disney only own 25%, if ITV were to take 25 minutes from their airtime a day I can't imagine they'd be pleased.

Well thats a first.

A streaker on GMTV at 8am with Jonathon Swain......

A nice start to the day Laughing Laughing Laughing (beats Fiona anyday)

Jonathon Swain comes across as a bit of an arse on this clip. I'm surprised GMTV put it on their website. I wonder what he did to that man holding the sign at the end.

I heard on GMTV the other morning when Ben and Fiona was talking to Biggins, Fiona said that she and Ben could be available for Panto in December. Ben said to her well you definately will be. We know that there is to be a relaunch but it could be safe to say the presenters dont know whether they are safe or not.

They've all been kept in the dark, as have all staff. The assumption is now that three shows - Newshour, GMTV Today & LK Today will be turned into one from 0600 to 0930. This then draws the question of how many presenters you need for that?

Are GMTV even bringing in a new sofa star (Garraway promoted to main presenter?; Penny/Priya on Thu/Fri?).

Undecided. At this stage the sofa and studio are in question.

9.30? Will they be having an extra 5 minutes?
