Here is what happened, this travel company in Tenerife (a timeshare type of company that sells scratch cards on the streets and you win a prize and to redeem it, you have to attend a presentation of their timeshare holidays), was using GMTV's name as well as others like BskyB, Orange plc, BBC and more to sell their timeshare holidays, saying that these companies often travel with this company and etc.
When a woman complained to GMTV about this company, thinking that GMTV had something to do with this company when they didn't, GMTV found out that this company had used their name falsely and took action by confronting the manager/boss of the company.
GMTV sent round Chief Correspondent, Alan Fisher to confront the person. The company knew they were in the wrong, and Alan kept strongly confronting the manager and then the manager headbutted Alan and the camera briefly filmed the incident for a second but then the camera went distorted and blank, then after a few seconds resumed filming. Alan was very shocked and kept saying "You hit me", then the manager just walked off. Alan also said he would phone the police.
