I've taken offence to a post, and I've had the courage of my convictions to say so. So shoot me

Doesn't warrant the encouragement of gun crime, I would argue..? Actually, I'd better not argue with you, had I? You might shoot me. What a well thought out reply that was...

Right back at you.

"Are you looking for a slap ?" is an absolutely fantastic "contributi[on] about TV presentation."

Pot, kettle, etc.

I can't wait for Eamonn and Fiona to come back, btw...

That looks more like Pot, Kettle, Trevor to me.

BigB, I have a history of talking about TV presentation here, you thus far signed up to quote the rules.

Let's hope you hang around for good, we could do with a new nanny around here to be the bastion of all that is right and proper on this here forum.

See, the moderators just don't care, it's gone to the dogs I tell you.

yay! i was only thinking the other day, seeing as we're opening a new forum for every type of programme, presenter, junction and channel we need an equal number of forum nannys to boss us around, and make themselves feel ever so important.

poor james hatts has the weight of the world on his shoulders at the moment; sorting out the civil war in sudan, mopping up the floods in boscastle, feeding the starving children in ethiopia, manning childline single-handedly and protecting the forum vulnerable from persecution. this new news forum is just the icing on the cake.

perhaps james should spear head a whole team of forum do-gooders to boss around forumers - a sizable chunk of whom are more than twice his age.

Oh yes, I am also very pleased about this development in forum discipline -- I don't know how I coped before, I really don't. Respect must also be given to all the *can we please get back on topic* chimps and of course the very example of party personality, Meic Young.

Without them, I just wouldn't know how to conduct myself safely in conversations in the outside world.

This place seems to now resemble post-war Berlin. Except what people are wasting electricity banging on about is erm, rather less important.

Not sure why I am singled out for such opprobrium on the basis of one incident on Metropol Confused

In fairness though, there really is only one member who is prolific in doing this, I think we all know who he is...
