I am trying to gauge opinion on this Show that I was watching with my children this afternoon. (Aged 6 and 3)

I was completely surprised and amazed by the content and sexual content of the show. With women standing and performing in bikinis others in very short skirts showing off a lot more than what I would deem appropriate for a show that is broadcast for children that have just returned from school. To be honest the content should not be aimed at children full stop.

i was also shocked by the lewd sexual innuendos that were contained in the show. For example : A "Game" was entitled Heaving Melons. Where one of the scantily clad women were playing netball with melons. The so called presenter making remarks such as, "I’m not sure if she can HEAVE HER MELONS high into the air" and "I don’t care how many she scores, I’m just looking forward to watching".

Now I don’t know if anyone else seen this episode or not but I would like to read your comments in response to this.

You may be thinking that I am some old fuddy duddy, but I am a 25 year old concerned father. Children have to put with enough sexual pressure from the media, including Pop Music and any advertising you care to mention. Without the need for this pressure to be added extremely unnecessary to their after school TV viewing.

My six year old daughter has the opinion that if you have Blonde Hair, are a Size 6, are 6ft tall and show as much flesh as you can then that makes you SEXY!

So-called children’s light entertainment with this content and connotation does not help!!

Is the one your talking about the one with 'dad'? If so, I agree with you in everway. Not only is it filled with things that are not suitable for children underb teenage years, It is simply purile crap, produced for what ITV is under the dillusion is what the General public wants to see.

I generally come home from school to find my sister watching it. She's 11 and is very impressionable and I don't really think that programmes like that are suitable. That is the reason why in my view the state of society has gone down.

By the way, I'm 13.

Sorry about the lecture, but I despise the programme.

You're not from ITV, are you?

Because there's no better way of guaranteeing that people watch it than by coming on to complain about it. They're just waiting on the first people to complain to the papers, and then they'll watch as their viewing figures soar.

Ignore it, and it'll no doubt go away.

Btw, what time's it on? Razz
