Ok, so this man used to do continuity work for LWT...

In the past I have seen him presenting on shopping channels such as Screenshop and others. Ok...nothing wrong there...

Then I see him reading the news on Meridian...and tonight, I have just seen him demonstrating a new drill on QVC?! Confused Correct me if I'm wrong....this man his beginning to haunt me! Shocked Laughing

He's NOT as good as Maggie Mash but yes he is far better than all those younger ones they have now on ITV 1 they are the pits .

You can also catch Glen Thompsett on any of the Screenshop channels presenting the No Wet Wonderfoam infomercial...

They're still showing that!!! Laughing Must be 3 years old now

I think Glen is more at home selling "Wonderfoam" than reading the news.

Correction ...nearly six years old and whatsmore being shown on two American channels - so yes - he does get about. I even heard him doing continuity on ITV3 the other night....watchout - he'll soon be back on ITV1. Must have a very good agent! Rolling Eyes

No - I think he's far more suited to reading the news - a natural. Unlike so many of these reporters that try to read. Why don't news editors realise that presenting and reporting are two totally different skills?

I agree, he's damn good at news. Actually on Meridian this evening doing a shift.

Though his versatility knows no bounds, with ITV1 continuity Saturday and Sunday daytimes, I rather fancy.

I reckon he ought to apply for the vacant Points West job over at the Beeb.
