Original thread was archived, hence this...

As part of the new Sky1 look, we are being given Gladiators: The Legends Special at 8pm on 31st August. We'll see the return of such legends like Hunter, Lightning, Ace (yes, the thick chocolate biscuit , Flame, Rebel (who?) , Rocket (who?) , Trojan... and of course... WOLF!!!

The best part about it is that we get to see them kick the living sh*t out of the impostors, such as the embarrassingly annoying Oblivion, and how Wolf gets his own back. Very Happy It's a shame they couldn't get hold of the likes of Cobra and Saracen, not to mention the ever painful absence of John Sachs.

Whoever can't be bothered watching this clearly has no soul... or no Sky subscription... as this HAS to be one of the best television broadcasts of all time... in my opinion anyway. Wink

Sunday 8pm, Sky1

P.s. For those who still prefer the original...

31st eh? I can't wait! Wolf will totally own Oblivion Razz As much as I like the return of the Gladiators the 90's version was still superior.

Probably because Sky's version is a cheap imitation.
Playing a lot of the high-up games over a tank of water doesn't necessarily make them better.

I found that to be bloody awesome. Even though Trojan spoilt it a bit, I reckon they should just make a series of the legends specials, it was definitely the best thing I've seen on telly for ages.
