AMEN! All totally pointless white elephants. Channel 4+1 is the only place where the concept has some use. Like you say BBC1 / ITV1+1 I'd welcome with open arms.

In your opinion. Personally I watch channels such as UKTV Gold +1, Dave +1, National Geographic+1 and Discovery +1* just as much as their 'normal' sister channels.

Let us not forget Discovery +1.5 on Sky (I think its on 549) which makes the main Discovery Channel have two alternatives should you miss the programme first time round


Ahh Is that what thats for, I thought it was something to do with surround sound quality.

(I've only just recently got Sky+ btw...yes..really!)
