Those ghastly "+1" Channels

No I'm not taking about tv forum I was talking about the hell hole that is Metro.

My point is that I have seen the same epoisde of same programme on sky all the time. this is what killing TV, there is too much air space it need to be cut back

I certainly see the +1s as very useful. Even with Sky+ there are times when more than 2 things clash and chances are one of them is on a +1 channel you can get later.

While it's ok the have them on cable and satellite I think it's rather pointless using up the very limited bandwidth available on DTT for them.

Let us not forget Discovery +1.5 on Sky (I think its on 549) which makes the main Discovery Channel have two alternatives should you miss the programme first time round

Not to mention back on THINGS THAT MAKE SENSE

You people really do watch alot of tv and worry alot about tv. I like the plus ones and digital tv. If i miss something i never worry too much as i know by the end of the week it'll be repeated many times and law of averages says i'm bound to catch up. If not digitally but this new fangled tv on web stuff is snapping at skys heels.

I can't remember the last time i recorded a prog.

Whereas the only thing I watch live is the news. Everything else is recorded. I can't remember the last time I watched an advert (at normal speed that is).
