It's quite simple. I don't really understand all the technical jargon, so if someone could post in entire english...

I'm looking into getting a free solution to sky, as freeview coverage here is really crap.

(Free, obviously not including Installation/Box/Dish and card for Channel 4, ITV and Five)

I'd also like to be able to watch BBC World if thats possible.

Thanks alot, Hope someone out there can help.

My advice is to pay for Sky. A service thats worth paying for, unlike something else.

So can I watch BBC World on 13 degrees east and all the UK channels on the same TV?

Sky signals come from 28 degrees East. As you've gathered, the BBC World signal at 13 degrees East, doesn't. Therefore you can't have both at the same time.

Therefore you will either need the patience of a saint to move your dish manually or invest in a motorised dish and receiver hardware to do it for you. This probably won't be cheap.
