Tonight George chucked his notes in the bin like Huw used to do

Does anyone think this is a good or bad thing to do.

I quite like it, except you have to do it correctly otherwise it looks messy.

Did anyone see the CBS Evening News yesterday?
At the end of the bulletin they zoom out to show the CBS Newsroom and you can still see the presenter at the desk.
As the music was playing and the VO man saying 'For news 24 hours a day...' John Roberts (the presenter) picked up a phone and started to ring someone up!
And he was chatting away until it faded out into a CBS promo!!
You would have thought he would have waited until the camera had left him.

I remember on the 6 one night Huw was doing the healines at half past and in the newsroom behind him a young girl was picking her nose, and not just with a finger she had her whole fist up there

Big enought to fit my house in and it's not small. You could also use it as a warehouse to store cheese slices.

Wonder what he thought about that - maybe he should have turned round, pointed and laughed... maybe not. And maybe this will be on the behind the scenes next time,

'Let me tell you a little secret - it's not actually live....we wouldn't want people picking their nose in the news centre - would we!'

As for the bin - well, all presenters must do it and there isn't much else to do during the short titles - they log out of the computer, Peter Sissons seems to have a sweet (!), they all get rid of their scripts in the end and about five second after going off air - they're off!

Well if anyone saw thew end of Breakfast this morning, Darren Jordan couldn't wait to get off the set, and was standing up even before the closing titles had finished.

Newsreaders should be seated at all times! Smile

Maybe he was eager to do more Holiday shoots from Jamaica and raring to go!! Did you see him - he's been a stunt double, world record holder, in the Jamaican army - is there no end to this man's talents!!! Very Happy
