General Presentation on ITV1

I expect we won't know for sure until CS tonight (Emmerdale already has its own).

Well Loose Women had the same credits with what looked to be a drop shadow on the text.

The "After the break" sting with the News did look different, as did the atrium backdrop...

To whom?

Yep, ITV News has had a graphics tweek.

Most of it is the same, apart from the studio has a bluer tint now.

The yellow/orange does not match the blue at all!

Nope - and the teal logo is now obsolete. I hope they tweak these further.

Loved the ident before the news, guessing it's the sombre one.

Hmm, the idents in themselves are an improvement, but like most I don't understand why they've made the logo black. Also the logo looks a bit plonked on, I know it is, but it's just very noticeable.

The soundtrack is also a bit unforgettable. The rower is the best of the set so far.

Problem of all of this now though is the inconsistency, and rather than being a coherent identity it becomes a mish mash of new and old. ie. the itv logo is white still on all the trailers.

As for ITV News I don't understand that change, it's back to old style ITV blue and yellow, again a mish mash of presentation as the astons are still very much teal.

I disagree. I like the way the logo appears from behind something and appears to be in the midground - in front of some things, behind others.

Beach again before Price is Right.

This had better not be the ident they use most - it's Winter for Christ's sake.

Currently I have only seen the Beach one, and find it very impressive except for the black ITV letters

does anyone have a copy of the new ones?>
