General Presentation on ITV1

It was there, but I think it was quiet. I also wouldn't be suprised if some of the frequencies containing it were also removed in the MPEG-2 compression.

Everything looks great (breakbumpers, idents... the lot) BUT the black logo is crap. Really.

Yes, based on the idents. Rather nice they look too.

Trails currently are unchanged, and still contain the itv1 logo with the white text.

Indeed. The ITV1 logo is in the centre and it's on different backdrops (with things falling or floating "over" the logo too... it's not just slapped on).

Not long now till the News at 1.30 - let's see if the "warmer" titles thing comes true.

One quick question, has the black gone? I dont mean from the logo I mean from the general design?

It's still in the trails yes, and in the logo as you say. Haven't seen an ECP yet.

I don't watch regularly watch ITV that much but has it confirmed that there are new idents in the vicinity and if so does the name of this thread need changing then?

Anyway I have switched on the TV and I have found an ITV1 breakbumper with the new logo. It's still a mess as the breakbumper looked as if it represented the great british summer but we're in chilly november!

But I would give it the green light for the black text as I've never really liked the white on yellow as it would've been difficult to see and it now reminds of the yellow and black danger signs you would see outside hazardous areas.

As for the credits background... it was the same blue curtains on Jeremy Kyle... although that's always taken a while to update after a new look comes in.

This Morning appeared to have the credits over some live action. Is this a new thing?
