General Presentation on ITV1

Apoligises for dragging up the thread. But for what I am going to say their is no point to create a new one.

The finishing credits for Trial and Retribution had the old background on the credits with at the end saying it was made it 2005. Is this programme just a repeat off a while ago or has it just been left on the shelves, and picked up?

I was wondering the same. It was weird to see the old background on the credits aswell as "2005" written at the end. 'TV easy' magazine doesn't say repeat, so I don't know.

Probably on the shelf. Its definately not a repeat.

It was filmed a while ago but it's definitely the first time it's been shown. Obviously been lying on the shelf for a while until they could get round to showing it. They've got a couple more to show I think as well.

Something struck me the other day, why in the current ITV1 idents don't they use the various yellow objects/creatures to create the logo? That way the logo could form, and then fly off or something.

I always agree that different music is needed, that was the only strong point about jan - nov 06.

Was that a new ident before Pokerface? It was quite nice, very unusual, possibly the best of the current bunch.

It debuted last month I think. It looks great, I agree.

Which one was it?

It was pavement art. Its v. nice but the people look stupid going round and round in the drawn circles. its probably the best, or at least most imaginative, in the set though.

The ending of it look's similar to the Talk Talk adverts, with people forming a shape/pattern.

On the ITV1 adverts and trailers, they have now updated the logo with the 'itv' now being in black. Matching with the current idents package. It looks alot better, than the white 'itv' part which you couldn't make out what it said before.
