I am now quite happy with ITV1 as they aren't overplaying any of their idents. They haven't kept overplaying the new Urban Basketball which is good - as some people probably haven't seen it yet.
Also this Pavement Art has apparently been shown *poster above says*.. also alot of people wouldn't of seen that yet - they are trying to keep it fresh probably.
Which is good as we won't get bored of them straight away. It's good that they are continuing to add new idents to the package aswell.

The first showing of Pavement Art was before The Grinch on Christmas Day and were even treated to a full & complete showing of it as it paused at the end for a couple of seconds.
I think it's the best of a bad bunch. The imagination is there but the creativity is not. The same soundtrack for all the idents and slides and with there not being very many idents, it's made them very boring already in only the short amount of time they've been showing.

Damn I missed it! If only I didn't hate The Grinch so much, as I wouldn't have turned over about 10 seconds before then.

Ditto, not the best ITV1 idents we've ever seen, but better than some of recent years. I think the idents should have their own track like the previous ones did. Yes the current tune is catchy, but it's the same and especially when it's played on the Lake ident it seems mighty depressing.

Agreed. I think it's ITV1's best attempt in a long time but the music grates on me. I think it works best on Bike, and maybe they could look at getting individual tracks for the other idents.
