According to the Sky EPG, General Hospital is back on ABC1 at 09:30, Monday 3rd October.

abc1 have only confirmed the show up to the 7th of Ocotber. Ratings have increased dramatically but they are still making a decision. They have also had a lot of contacts and gh-uk.com are running a petition too.

They are giving it another two weeks while they are in negotiations. Looks like they are trying to get a better price to keep the show.
