General Chat Forum

Good afternoon.

As some of you will be aware, Martin recently handed over the chat section of this site, Metropol 24/7, over to assistant administrator Gavin Scott.

Obviously I have huge concerns about the amount of free speech and general allround feelgood atmosphere on such a forum under Mr Scott, based on his track record of heavy-handed moderation, which has seen numerous forum mainstays unvolunatrily removed or bored of the forum in the last 18 months.

This will obviously now got get any less with Mr Scott in overall control.

I am proposing that a new general-chat forum is set up with minimal policing (eg. legal reasons only) where free speech will be completely allowed.

I would welcome your views and any offers of partnership.

without any cares in the world apart from your need to constantly bang on about how you didn't like crossroads v3 and your tendency to make bigoted posts about the gays and stuff

Well what's stopping you James? Why do you need to suddenly start this thread? From the other one I got the impression that it was done and dusted and that Homophobabigotboard would be up and running imminently.
