I don't think there has ever been one on TG, i can't seem to find one so i thought i would start one! Wink

Do peolple think that Top Gear has been running for too long now and needs to be axed or should carry on and has a thriving future ahead of it?

Secondly, if you were the Exec producer of TG for a show, what would you change about it? Presenters? Graphics? Studio? Format?

Being A TG fan myself, i would leave the show how it is now ! Wink Laughing

Thoughts Confused:

You obviously weren't here in Katherine's day.

A week without a Top Gear poll was like a week without seeing a cloud.

Are you sure you don't want to replace Jeremy with Paul Hudson?

Top Gear is still great, it doesn't need any tweaking at all, the car reviews are still great, the mini films are still great, the arguments the cool wall causes are still great....

....actually one thing I would change is the "Star In The Reasonably Priced Car" feature, more to do with the track design than anything else, they have the same one since the new Top Gear started

Aah! Katherine i only came across her a couple of times. She left before we had a chance to properly bond over Richard Hammond. Although she'd probably give me a virtual kick as i haven't seen the new Top gear yet. I catch up with whats going on via the papers and reading here. They should repeat it on a Sunday sometime inbetween the Emmerdale, Corrie and Enders omnibuses and Primeval and strictly come dancing . It's the one day i idle about i front of the telly.

They did have plans to move the programme from Dunsfold to the midlands, to a track next door to Jeremy's house.

Unfortunately they hit a number of planning "issues", so didn't move.

I don't know what the latest plans are, but I think they'd move if only they were allowed to.

i agree the track at Dunsfold is just same old, same old and also i like the hanger style studio but do you not think it's a tad too old?

BTW I have found some production notes which you may like to take a look at:

Its a pretty good show - I do think that Jeremy Clarkson is an arrogant git, but he's still funny and I like the show.

Was great to see Richard come back the other week, with some great footage of the crash!
