Ive just watched Gate 24 for the first time in ages and realised just how good the program is. It covers so much in such little time its unbelieveable. It seems to have some really good reporters. Surely this program should be given a full 30 mins rather than the 12 or so minutes it currently gets? Has anyone else watched it lately? If so what do you think? The one thing i would change is the graphics and titles as it only uses the standard News 24 straps and very basic titles. I guess thats probably cause its a low budget programme.

It is a good show and deserves it's own straps and astons, something on the lines of FASTTRACK on BBC World, which already has this implemented.

This man should never have been allowed near an autocue in his life. Gwenan Edwards was much better!

What ever happened to "Its Your Money?" with Tanya Beckett?

Speaking of Fast Track, I'm a little disappointed with the direction it's heading towards now - when it launched about 18 months ago, it was 15 mins long, with Gwenan Edwards, and looked more at travel news rather than travel features, which used to follow in a shortened edition of Holiday. It was nice having a programme which included travel news, as most travel programmes feature very little of it. Now, however, they have scrapped Holiday, and extended Fast Track to 30 mins. This could be an improvement, but they don't seem to include as much travel news now, and instead focus more on feature stories. The biggest problem is the new presenter (pictured above) - Gwenan was far better.

His name is Akhtar Khan ... he used to be Entertainment Correspondent at Sky.
The same team produce FastTrack as produce Gate 24. It's a very small team and they don't have much cash.

Admittably I haven't seen Fasttrack recently, so I have never seen this guy present.

May i add they do a fantastic job despite being a low budget programme.
