Hello,
Were any of you aware that a spin off has been made starring Dean Learner. It was based in his night club, and possibly had guests who came 'visit' him. It was only a pilot filmed last Wednesday, and it was infront of a studio audience. Wish I could've gotten a ticket, but what is the general opinion on a spin off? I'd prefer another series (and a beer), altho Dean Learner was very, very good. Definately the best character, followed with a tie between Liz and Sanchez.

The way C4 have treated Darkplace is very strange. They're not commissioning a new series, but they were in talks for Matt and Richard to make a film version, and now there's this spin-off. Any chance of them picking up the (already prepared) DVD for release, I wonder?

I wish the film would be picked up. Don't think I could watch 90minutes without wanting oxygen to breathe from laughing (fingers crossed). I think it might be a good spin off, whether it's actually shown on TV we'll have to see. I read about the DVD on the web site, I thought that was definate. I've already watched it far too much, so I need extras!!
