Hi guys
Just wanted to let you know that the hit videogame series from the early 90's, GamesMaster (orignally shown on C4) is to be repeated. GamesMaster Series 1 is being repeated on Challenge (Sky Channel 121) from the 20th October on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's at 10.30am and repeated later at 6.30pm! GamesMaster will be shown back-to-back with Knightmare series 5.

I personally can't wait, I remember rushing home for tea in time to watch GM and love how Patrick Moore would dispense his tips to the youngsters stuck on Sonic 2 Laughing Sorry if I've made a balls up by posting this, it's my first post Very Happy Does anyone else remember GM? And anyone else looking forward to the repeats? If so visit this site to whet your appetite for the repeats:

Yeah, I remember GM... I was more of a fan of Bad Influence and that nutcase Nam Rood (sp).. I never really saw the point of those challenges where the star prize was a crappy Atari Joystick.

I'll certainly be tuning in though - it'll bring back memories of a misspent childhood.

Patrick Moore with his monicle was a good laugh too... I might have to dig out my Sega Megadrive and SNES emulator to celebrate Wink

I was more of a fan of Sky One's Games World. Made by the same people wasn't it?

Yeah it really was Sir Patrick Moore Very Happy Cool In a recent interview when asked if he'd ever want to return to the role of GamesMaster he said he'd be more than happy to, if they wanted him. In fact all the original people behind the series want to do a new one, but the trouble is convincing a TV station that if they did comission it the show would pull in viewers. This is one of the main reasons I'm glad Challenge are going to repeat it, who knows this could be the catalyst for a new series!

Here's Sir Patrick as we'll see him in Series 1:

and Series 2 (if challenge show it)

Sir Patrick did admit he didn't have a clue what he was talking about when giving out tips but he did say he had tremendous fun working on the show, which is evident from some of the out takes I've seen Laughing
