It’s not been made entirely clear but they have already started in some territories - in Africa they have rebranded some Fox Sport channels as ESPN

Whilst there is a separate thread for Disney’s kids channels, ultimately in this country it means that FOX, National Geographic and Nat Geo Wild now fall under as Disney. Considering there’s always new content on the three channels I can’t see them going anywhere for the short term future. Certainly I can see the FOX brand getting binned. Maybe a reboot for ABC in the UK, who knows? But certainly it’s clear that Disney don’t want to be tarnished with the FOX name.

Disney clearly want to get rid of the Fox brand, because it's too assosiated with Murdoch, and toxic.

Not that it's necessarily a sign of things to come for the channel or anything but the Fox UK website is now filled with Disney+ links.

The new War of the Worlds series isn't a Fox US show, it's actually a Fox Networks Group co-production with Studio Canal, but yes there's very little programming associated with Fox US and Fox UK.
I could see Fox getting rebranded in the future, especially as the only Fox US shows also airing on Fox UK & Ireland are Bones, The first few series of American Dad,
War Of The Worlds
and Family Guy. The rest of it comes mostly from CBS and AMC.

They've already rebranded the film studios to both 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures so my guess is FOX UK will be rebranded to FX UK which was its original name. 20th Century Fox Television can easily become 20th Century Television but I have no idea how they rebrand Fox21 Television Studios, maybe FX21 and merge it with FXP or simply 21 Television Studios

That might depend what’ll happen with FX, FXX and FXM in the US, though. Will Disney consider it a strong enough brand on its own or will they fear the public will still associate it with FOX. (Didn’t it stand for FOX Extended originally?)

I’m not sure Disney will do anything with the FX Brand - it’s fairly distinctive (and associated with its own shows) in its own right and the fact that they have launched FX’s programming on Hulu under it’s own ‘FX On Hulu’ brand suggests they’re going to be supporting it for some time.
