I was thinking about this the other night. What services would you like to see on Digital television in the future?
Already we are hearing about replacements to DVDs, so I would perhaps like to see the features of DVD on Sky when this does happen. For example different audio tracks, so one film can be watched in different languages and perhaps with an audio commentary by the stars. A feature not used much on DVDs even now is the multiple angle feature, which would be great on Sky Movies if it were implemented. I know stations like BBC Three also do little extras for things like Little Britain if you hit the red key, but I think that they should do a pay for use service where they provide documentaries, "Making of" type programs for the content they are showing. There are a number of possibilities!
A big one i'd like to see personally is the ability to switch on and off a signer on the more popular programs as well as things like documentaries etc. The only signing programs we get at the moment are either on early in the morning or in the middle of the night. Why should deaf people have to record something or wait that long to see something which they prob wouldn't be interested in anyway!?
