Interesting to see Challenge trying a different show, saying that when they gambled on Knightmare it really paid off and got some excellent viewing figures(considering it was placed in prime time so it would have been up against the likes of Emmerdale and whatever rubbish BBC 1 waS SHOWING BACK THEN. I think it's a good thing. Well Knightmare never made a return, which is s shame after all the hype, but Fun House could work though, because its was cheaper.
I must admit I stopped watching Fun House when it was put on Fridays at 4 40 as I was so loyal to Knightmare I wouldn't give itv the time or day and stopped watching it completely. It was fun watching it today!

The great thing with Challenge, if enough people on their forums want to see a series then they will make an attempt to get it. That's why they're showing Fun House (probably not a series they would otherwise consider) and supposedly will be showing Chain Letters and Winning Lines if they can get clearance issues sorted.

Chain Letters I believe has been cleared and its now broadcasting.

Challenge has a tight budget this year which mean there do not have funds to splash out on lots of new show, I believe most shows will be held over to next year.

Knightmare managed to get into the weekly top 10 when it was on, which is a pretty incredible achievement amongst the millions of Takeshi's Castle repeats.

Managed to catch Fun House yesterday, what a nostalgia flashback!! I never remembered Pat Sharp's dry wit from originally watching it, added a whole new level of entertainment. Isn't it on at the same time KM was on Challenge at one point? That's kinda ironic as that's what happened on CITV in 1995 as well...

Hard to believe now that Knightmare got almost 6 million viewers when it originally aired on CITV... deservedly so though, since it was a superb programme in my opinion.

Pat's more radio involved now- I enjoy "The Weekend Vibe" show that goes out on various stations, not bad if there's nothing on TV worth watching!
